Adventure and Harmony in the heart of the city.
A bespoke reimagined “Tong Lau 唐樓” that is designed for the quintessential urbanite who has a sense for adventure and love of curated interiors and opinionated design. Much like our flagship projects in Hokkaido, Koa Fifty-Two draws its name from the beautiful wood native to the islands of Hawaii. From ancient canoes that explored the Polynesian islands, to the first hand-carved alaia boards that carved through the waves, to the warm, resonant tones of the ukulele – Koa is synonymous with meticulous workmanship and an appreciation for natural beauty.
Koa Fifty-Two is many things: warmth, beautiful craftsmanship, and a sense of kinship in a crowded city.

Each duplex apartment is arranged across two floors of the building and can be accessed via a central staircase. The lower floor opens onto an open-plan kitchen equipped with a full-height fridge, oven, washing machine/dryer, and a small wine cellar. A dining and lounge area was designed into the front of the apartment, catered to intimate gatherings with friends and families. A spiral staircase ascends to the upper floors where there is a master bedroom - with an en-suite shower room and built-in wardrobe - and a guest bedroom which can also be re-configured as a study.
